Updates from the 5.30pm BST kick-off at Tynecastle, where Hearts and Rangers are doing battle in the Scottish Premiership. Live scores, tables, and the usual existential dread are available.

2 min: Paul Simpson, a reader with a long memory and possibly a therapist, writes in to share a family saga that spans decades. Back in 64-65, his old man was at the game against Kilmarnock with his dad and 50,000 others (the number may have grown in the retelling). Hearts lost 2-0, and Kilmarnock won the league on goal average - by about 0.04 of a goal. Then in 85-86, while living in Australia, Simpson woke up to the crushing disappointment of a 2-0 loss to Dundee after an unheard-of unbeaten run, allowing Celtic to pip Hearts on goal difference by three goals. That same season, he did see a game against Rangers - an absolute pasting, as his 14-year-old self remembers, with Hearts winning 3-0. He would happily take something similar today, though a lucky draw wouldn't upset him too much. Come on, you Jambos.

1 min: Hearts get a throw-in in the Rangers half. Kingsley launches it, only for it to be cleared. Rangers escape on the counter to great boos. Diomande eventually gets the ball but can't do anything with it. The match continues, as do the hopes of a generation.
