David Harbour has finally weighed in on Lily Allen's tell-all album *West End Girl*, and spoiler alert: he doesn't think it's about him. The *Stranger Things* actor, currently on the Emmys trail for the HBO crime drama *DTF St Louis*, separated from the singer in early 2025 after their 2020 wedding. The couple filed for divorce months later.

Allen's hit album details the explosive dissolution of a marriage, including acts of infidelity and emotional manipulation, with the singer calling it “a mixture of fact and fiction.” The Guardian's Alexis Petridis dubbed it “an act of unstoppable personal exorcism.” Harbour, speaking to *Variety*, called the experience “weird” but acknowledged an artist's right to use their life for art. “I respect her for doing that,” he said. When asked if he wanted to push back against any claims, Harbour replied: “Stories are complex … It wasn't my experience.”

Allen told *Vogue* the album is “inspired by what went on in the relationship” but not all gospel. She's now on tour with the album, which the Guardian's Claire Biddles gave two stars, calling it “a raw document of marital betrayal” but a disappointing show. Allen is also in talks for a potential play based on the songs. “The ink is not dry,” she said. “But it's very exciting.”

Meanwhile, tabloids reported that Harbour's *Stranger Things* co-star Millie Bobby Brown had filed a bullying and harassment claim against him. Harbour called the timing “weird” and denied lasting tension: “You'll see more of me and Millie - 10 years wasn't enough. It was just a simple rupture-and-repair thing.” He added that people are “very scared of talking about things” nowadays. Harbour will next reprise his role as Santa Claus in *Violent Night 2*.
