Meanwhile, the sanctioned Russian container ship Yanina decided to take a dive in the Black Sea after being hit by Ukrainian drones. Zelenskyy listed it among "facilities that sustain the war effort," though Rosatom - the state nuclear energy company whose shipping subsidiary FESCO operates the vessel - insists it was just carrying "civilian goods" like frozen food and construction materials. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant lost off-site power for nearly two hours on Saturday - the 23rd time this has happened since the full-scale invasion began. The plant, illegally occupied by Russia and not operating, still needs external power to keep its cooling systems running and its nuclear materials safe. You know, minor details.

Ukraine's campaign to cut off illegally occupied Crimea from Russia is having its intended effect: residents in the town of Massandra are queuing for hot meals due to power cuts. Town administration head Oksana Madyud said workers are serving roughly 200 people per day, dishing out buckwheat and reheated tinned beef from huge pots. "Not everyone has the means to cook hot food on electric hobs," she noted. Ukraine says it is "bringing the war back home to Russia" - and apparently, also bringing back the communal dining experience.
