In a groundbreaking study that somehow hasn't been done before, King's College and Queen Mary University in London are putting the link between hormones and ADHD symptoms in women to the test. Fifty women with ADHD who are already on medication will track their menstrual cycles and log how their symptoms and daily lives are affected. Because apparently, we needed a formal study to confirm what many women have been yelling into the void for years. Dr Jessica Agnew-Blais and Laura Mears-Reynolds from ADHDAF+ joined presenter Nuala McGovern to discuss the obvious.

Meanwhile, the government is finally consulting on giving financial security to over 3.5 million unmarried couples when they split up. The proposed reforms aim to protect women and drag family law into the 21st century. Mandip Ghai from Rights of Women and a semi-retired woman named Jenny Allen, who is feeling the long-term financial sting of her separation, weighed in on the overdue changes.

In other news, the video game God of War is getting a female protagonist for the first time: Laufey, who is both powerful and a mother. Shock and awe. Vicky Jessop and Keza Macdonald joined the program to discuss the significance and the inevitable online backlash from people who apparently have nothing better to do.
