MrBeast's media empire, Beast Industries, is facing a lawsuit from a former employee who alleges the workplace was less a content factory and more a hostile environment factory. Lorrayne Mavromatis, who served as head of Instagram before a promotion, claims the company condoned sexual harassment of women and treated complaints about it like yesterday's TikTok trends - ignored.

The lawsuit, filed by Mavromatis, alleges she was fired after complaining about a workplace lacking 'basic employment protections.' Specifically, she says former CEO James Warren told her that MrBeast (real name: Jimmy Donaldson) wouldn't work with her because she was 'a beautiful woman and her appearance had a certain sexual effect on Jimmy.' That's a new spin on creative differences.

Mavromatis claims she was demoted to a role known internally as where 'careers go to die,' then fired less than three weeks after returning from pregnancy-related leave, being told she was 'too high-calibre' for the position. She's seeking lost wages, benefits, reinstatement, and damages for mental anguish.

Beast Industries' representative called the lawsuit a 'clout-chasing complaint' built on 'deliberate misrepresentations and categorically false statements,' adding, 'We have the receipts to prove it.' They claim extensive evidence, including messages and witness testimony, refutes the allegations. The company also said the firing was part of a team-wide reorganisation, not performance-related.

MrBeast, the world's most-followed YouTuber with over 470 million subscribers, is no stranger to legal drama. He previously faced allegations of exploiting contestants on his reality show Beast Games, which he denied, and hired investigators after a former co-host was accused of grooming a teenager - allegations later found baseless.
