An explosion at a residential building in Monaco has injured three people, two critically, in what officials are calling a likely attack. The blast occurred shortly before 21:00 local time on Rue Révérend Père Louis Frolla, near the French border, after a bag was left outside. Minister of State Christophe Mirmand told AFP the device contained bolts and pellets, and a suspect was seen on video fleeing toward France. Over 100 police and emergency personnel responded. Mirmand called it the first such act in Monaco's history. Prince Albert II described it as a 'heinous crime' and a 'shock to the entire Monaco community.' The injured were taken to a hospital in Nice, France. Officials plan an update Tuesday.
