If you’ve been making multiple passes over your living room rug like it’s a bad relationship you can’t quit, Dyson’s 360 Vis Nav might be the out-of-the-box solution you need. Through May 11th (or while supplies last), Woot is selling the last-gen robovac for an all-time low of $279.99 - a whopping $919 off its original $1,199 price tag - and it comes with a full two-year warranty.

The 360 Vis Nav packs 65 air watts of suction, which in human terms means it can demolish a pile of dry oatmeal in seconds. That’s not a metaphor; The Verge’s Jennifer Pattison Tuohy actually watched it do that, and briefly worried it might vacuum up the tassels on her rug (it didn’t, but the fact she worried says something about its ambition). By contrast, many robot vacuums - including Dyson’s own new $1,200 Spot + Scrub AI - need multiple passes to achieve the same level of clean. The D-shaped design and ultra-fluffy brush let it dig into edges and corners better than rounder rivals, while its low profile slips under most beds and sofas. The 500ml dustbin is roomy enough that you won’t be emptying it every five minutes, and Dyson’s built-in handle and quick-release button make the emptying process almost pleasant.

But before you throw your credit card at the screen, know that this vacuum is not without its quirks. It lacks AI-powered obstacle avoidance and a self-emptying dock, so you’ll still be manually dealing with the dirt. Battery life is a modest 65 minutes per charge. Still, if your top priority is yanking dirt, dust, and pet hair out of carpets without having to run the machine twice, the 360 Vis Nav is worth a look - especially at a price that’s lower than its suction power.
