Torres, who scored the extra-time winner in the World Cup final against Argentina, arrives after a season where he racked up 21 goals and three assists in 49 appearances for Barça, helping them retain their La Liga title. He'll be reunited with Luis Enrique, under whom he played for Spain, scoring 25 goals in 65 caps. Because apparently, some reunions are worth the price of a small island.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa are bracing for the potential exit of goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, who has decided that six seasons at Villa Park might be enough.
