In a rare moment of consumer-friendly generosity, this month's Humble Choice drop is offering a genuinely decent lineup of Steam PC games for $14.99 per month. Subscribers get Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Psychonauts 2, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, and more. You keep the games forever, even if you cancel after just one month. It's almost like the service wants you to stay, which is suspicious.

While you're subscribed, Humble is also discounting digital games, including Nintendo Switch 2 titles. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is $53.99 for members, and most other full-price games are about $6 off retail. So you can save money on games you were going to buy anyway, which is either smart or a sign that you have a problem.

In other deals, Valve is clearing out the last of its Valve Index wired VR headset stock with a 20 percent discount. The headset is now $399.20, down from $499; replacement left controllers are $119.20 (was $149), and replacement tether cables are $103.20, down from $129. But good luck finding a base station - Valve no longer sells them, so you'll have to brave eBay or Craigslist. Nothing says 'cutting-edge VR' like hunting for discontinued hardware on a classifieds site.

Borderlands 4 is down to $19.91 for disc editions on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 at Amazon. That's a steep drop from its usual $30, and the lowest price yet for the 2025 looter shooter. It's still good for co-op multiplayer fun, even if the gameplay is shallow enough to wade through. Sometimes you just want to shoot things with a friend and not think too hard.

Finally, Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is available for preorder on 4K Blu-ray. The set includes a 4K Blu-ray, a standard 1080p Blu-ray, and a digital code. It's $29.99 at Best Buy, $29.65 at Barnes and Noble (members save 10 percent more), and if you're a first-time Gruv buyer, you can get it for $25.46 with code FIRSTGRUV15. The film launches November 17th. So if you missed it in theaters or just want to rewatch it in the comfort of your own home, now's your chance to own a physical piece of media that will look great on your shelf until you inevitably stream it anyway.
