Rockstar has finally given us a release date for Grand Theft Auto VI: November 19th, 2026. That's right, mark your calendars for the distant future when you'll be able to play on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S/X. The game will be available digitally at launch, with physical cases containing codes rather than discs - because who needs physical media when you can have a plastic box with a piece of paper inside? Preloading begins on November 12th, giving you a whole week to download the thing before you can actually play it.

There are two versions: the $79.99 Standard and the $99.99 Ultimate editions. Both come with the same preorder perks: the Vintage Vice City Pack (vehicles, weapon patterns, and hairstyles nodding to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City) and a free month of GTA Plus (normally $7.99/month), which you can redeem immediately if you preorder digitally. GTA Plus is a membership for Grand Theft Auto V's online mode offering in-game perks and access to a rotating selection of classic Rockstar games, in case you wanted to pay a subscription for a game you already own.

The Standard version is available digitally from PlayStation and Xbox, or as a code in a box from Rockstar and retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. The $99.99 Ultimate Edition, however, is digital-only from PlayStation or Xbox and includes a surprising amount of exclusive content: cars, special weapon variants, outfits, extra customization options, shops, and cosmetic services not accessible otherwise. Because nothing says "value" like paying an extra $20 for digital clothes you'll never wear in real life.

Here's everything you get with the Ultimate Edition: a bunch of stuff we've listed in detail below. But first, sign up to get the best deals on products we've found and tested sent to your inbox - because you definitely need more emails.
