Chelsea Wolfe has announced her next album, The Dark, which will land on Loma Vista on August 21. The lead single, “Cold,” is out now, complete with hauntingly beautiful visuals of Wolfe in the foggy wilderness, because where else would you be if you're releasing a song called “Cold”?
The follow-up to 2024’s She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She was co-written with Jennifer Decilveo and Ben Chisholm, and includes contributions from Robin Finck, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, and Matt Chamberlain. So, it's a collaborative effort that probably sounds as moody as the album title suggests.
Starting in September and running through December, Wolfe will celebrate the album with a tour spanning the U.S. and Europe. That's a lot of dates, but hey, if you're going to be dark, you might as well do it globally. The full schedule is below, because we know you need to plan your brooding months in advance.
