Charity Sweepstakes Offers 670-HP Corvette, Because Nothing Says Altruism Like a 200-MPH Sports Car
A charity sweepstakes offers a 670-hp Corvette Z06 and a restored '65 Sting Ray, because nothing says 'helping veterans and children' like a 200-mph sports car.
Chevrolet's most track-focused Corvette is now the centerpiece of a charity sweepstakes, and readers who enter the giveaway through July 21 receive five times the usual number of entries. Because when you're trying to do good, you might as well do it at 670 horsepower.
The Corvette Dream Giveaway, presented by Wildfire Lifts, is offering a 2026 Corvette Z06 Stars and Steel Limited Edition Coupe as one of two grand prizes. Just 51 examples of this special edition were produced, each finished in Arctic White with red, white and blue American-flag-inspired graphics and a Blue Santorini interior. It's basically a fireworks display on wheels, minus the fire hazard.
Under the rear hatch sits Chevrolet's naturally aspirated 5.5-liter flat-plane-crank V-8, rated at 670 horsepower and paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It's the highest-output naturally aspirated V-8 the brand has ever put in a production Corvette, and it delivers the kind of immediate throttle response and high-rpm character usually reserved for exotic supercars. Which is a fancy way of saying it's very loud and very fast.
The Z06 shares the spotlight with a second grand prize, a beautifully restored 1965 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible, giving one winner two very different eras of Corvette performance. Dream Giveaway is also covering $76,000 toward federal prize taxes and adding a Wildfire Lift to the package, with proceeds supporting veterans' and children's charities. So you can feel good about winning, even as your neighbors seethe with jealousy.
Entries are open now through July 21, and Modern Car Collector readers who enter during that window receive five times the standard number of entries. Enter the Corvette Dream Giveaway here. Or don't, and let someone else have all the fun.
